Treating paediatric asthma in the hospital and community
Asthma is the most common chronic disease in infants and children affecting just over 1 in 10 of the paediatric population in the UK. Control and management of asthma symptoms is key to reducing the long term consequences of the condition and preventing acute asthma attacks, which can cause significant distress and often results in hospital admission.
In this seminar, two experts will showcase research into new treatments in paediatric asthma and new approaches to population health management to reduce the individual and population impacts of this chronic condition.
