Public health approaches to obesity

It’s estimated that around 1 in every 4 adults in the UK live with obesity, which is a major public health challenge. The need for public policy which promotes healthy choices and tackles obesity is increasingly important.

Professor Christopher Millett is Professor of Public Health at Imperial College London. He will present his work on ultraprocessed foods.

Professor Franco Sassi, Professor of International Health Policy and Economics at Imperial College Business School, will present his work on policies to tackle obesity.
