Is there a contingency budget in place?
Is there an attendance fee in place? Have arrangements been made for those
with hardship needs?
If the event spans a significant amount of time, have arrangements been made for breaks?
Have speakers sent over their materials and presentations?
Is a public address system in place?
Is an equalities statement on in the event publicity?
Does the registration page ask for any additional adjustments?
Has a specific location for wheelchair users been identified?
Is the event venue fully accessible for wheelchair users?
Are accessible routes sign posted?
If there are any stairs to venue, there must also be a ramp or lift which wheelchair users should be able to use independently.
Are there accessible disabled toilet facilities? Are they sign posted?
Is there hearing assistance equipment in place?
Is there nearby accessible parking?
Is first aid clearly accessible for participants?
Is the speaking area accessible?
If the event is spread across rooms, are accessible routes sign posted?
Are refreshment and breakout spaces fully accessible?
Is there a designated member of staff that will handle any access issues?
