Ovarian cancer is the sixth most common cancer in the UK, with around 7,400 people diagnosed each year and more than 4,000 deaths each year from the disease.

In this seminar, two experts talk about their research programmes on ovarian cancer treatment and answer your questions.

Professor Susana Banerjee is a Consultant Medical Oncologist at The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust, London and Professor in Women’s Cancers at the Institute of Cancer Research. Professor Banerjee talks about her research into individualisation of patient treatment and targeted therapies.

Professor Christina Fotopoulou is a Consultant Gynaecological Oncologist at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust and Professor of Gynaecological Cancer Surgery at Imperial College London. Professor Fotopoulou talks about her research into new surgical approaches to treating ovarian cancer.
