Immunotherapies are a type of cancer treatment that activate the body’s immune system to attack cancer cells. These types of therapies are revolutionising cancer treatment, with improved outcomes and survival for patients. However, not all patients respond to immunotherapies and some experience significant side effects.

In this seminar, two experts will talk about their research into immunotherapy as a cancer treatment and answer your questions.

Dr Lucia Possamai is an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at Imperial College London and Consultant Hepatologist at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. Dr Possamai will talk about her research into the biology and treatment of checkpoint inhibitor in hepatitis.
